Fun Night Date Ideas – There are many creative dating ideas that aren’t just the old boring dinner and a movie. Unusual dates create memories that will last a lifetime.
Here are some that will add spice to your love life:

Take an unusual class together. The more unusual the better. Creative dating ideas may include square dancing, beekeeping, origami, or pottery-making.
Plan a date at a concert. It may be rock, pop, classical or hip hop. Whatever suits your taste.
Attend a sporting event and root for the referee. Referees don’t get enough respect. After the game be sure to get their autograph.
Indoor Fun Night Date Ideas:
Invite another couple over for some competitive board games.
Go to the airport and people-watch. The bigger the airport, the more fun it will be.
Crash a party. It’s been quite a few years since I’ve done this. Many subdivisions have community centers which are ideal to crash. Also downtown hotels or convention centers often have parties or events on weekends. Most hotels will have a sign with a list of ballrooms and parties in the lobby. Stay away from wedding-crashing, it’s been done too often.
Go to a local comedy club and enjoy the evening.
Visit a local planetarium together. Many have special programs in the evenings.
Enjoy a meal at a theme restaurant. Last year my wife and I were on vacation and found an authentic medieval restaurant. Most cities have dinner theatres or murder mystery dinner theatres or some type of theme restaurant.
Attend a casino fun party. These parties may be local charity events or company-sponsored.
Visit a tourist area and take a horse-drawn carriage ride.
Visit a local carnival when it’s in town.
Seasonal or Holiday Fun Night Date Ideas:
Carve a pumpkin at Halloween – There are many places online to get ideas for your masterpiece.
On St Pat’s Day visit the local Irish pubs and enjoy the music and festivities.
On July 4th go see the fireworks. Most local cities or towns will host a fireworks display.
Make a scarecrow for your yard or garden.
Go for a ride to look at Christmas lights. Many parks or communities will offer holiday light shows.
Go tubing in the snow. In my college days we used cafeteria trays.
Adventurous Fun Night Date Ideas:
Take a martial arts class together. You have a choice of Aikido, Karate, Judo, Kick Boxing, and numerous others.
Take a midnight hot air balloon ride, and don’t forget the complimentary champagne!
